A Journal of Personal Experience in Hartlepool

This book contains a conceptual and photographic body of work, presented as a narrative. This work has primarily aimed to explore and interpret semiotic theory and the notions of the self. However, it also encompoasses aspects of colour theory as well as notions of individual identity. The work also incorporates themes and ideas of place, time and memory. 

You and I 

My inner child took me back to school. We didn't just notice the differences between boys and girls, we became confused by them. Finding myself back in school as a mature adult, with my inner child by my side, I could finally explain to my inner child what all of it meant. And so there I left her, to go play, be herself, and let her spirit be free.
